Lumenote is built on a simple belief: your thinking belongs to you. This policy reflects that.

What we collect

When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. That's it. We use it to send you updates about Lumenote and nothing else.

Local-first architecture

Lumenote is designed to be local-first. Your notes, files, and data live on your device. We do not store, read, or have access to your content. Your markdown files are yours.

AI features

When Lumenote's AI features are active, some content may be processed by third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic or OpenAI) to provide intelligent suggestions. This processing is ephemeral — content is sent for processing and not stored by these providers beyond what's needed to generate a response. You will always have the option to disable AI features entirely.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible) to understand how our website is used. No cookies. No personal data. No tracking across sites.

Third parties

We do not sell, share, or trade your personal information with third parties. We do not serve ads. We do not monetize your data.

Data deletion

Want off the waitlist? Email hello@getlumenote.com and we'll remove your data within 48 hours.

Changes

We may update this policy as Lumenote evolves. Significant changes will be communicated via email to waitlist subscribers.
